Configuring a Network for Critical Labs Gateways

DHCP

The Critical Labs gateway is setup default as DHCP. Plug the gateway into the network. The gateway will establish a connection with the Critical Labs cloud service by using the outbound “phone home” feature.   The gateway is plug-in-play and requires no additional setup. If the gateway is unable to establish an outbound connection, check the firewall settings.

Static IP Address

The Critical Labs gateway can be configured for use on a static IP network. To set the gateway up with a static IP, navigate to its user interface, select the top righthand menu, and select Network Settings.

The following information should be provided to IAI to configure a static IP Address:

• IP Address
• Subnet Mask
• Default gateway
• DNS Server IP address
